return [NULL] refers to the nature of our memory within a dynamic world in
which “all is data”. The seemingly empty space is filled up with the rain of
traces of elementary particles deriving from the cosmic radiation and recorded
in the Wilson Chamber detector. In the virtual space the traces of distant
events become fragmented records of personal and common memories: faces,
cities, landscapes. The viewer is immersed in a thickening cloud of inter-connections.
